ANNOUNCING JOINT VENTURE - CALIFORNIA, USA Mr. Roger A. Rached, President of INTERNATIONAL HI-TECH INDUSTRIES
INC. (the "Company") is delighted to announce that its majority-owned
subsidiary, IHI International Holdings Ltd. ("IHI International") has
established its fourth joint venture for the United States with its
existing Florida, Georgia and Texas J.V. Partner Hi-Tech America
Development Corp. Hi-Tech America Development Corp. will contribute U.S. $10 million
for a 49% interest in the joint venture for the factory to be
established in The State of California. An irrevocable down payment
of U.S. $180,000.00 on account of a license fee of U.S. $1,200,000
covering one factory for the State of California has been paid. In
addition, Hi-Tech America Development Corp. will pay to IHI
International the remainder of the license fee covering the above
factory by July 5, 1999. Second and third license fees of $1,250,000
must also be paid for two additional potential factories by August 1,
1999 and August 1, 2000. The business venture will involve the application in California of
the insulated concrete and steel panel-based building technology
licensed to IHI International. "We are very excited to now have four
joint ventures in the most populous and high-growth regions of the
United States!" said Mr. Rached. "California's rigorous building codes
are easily met by the Hi-Tech System which has undergone stringent
seismic testing for strength and endurance. The entire state will
benefit from residential and commercial buildings that have been
designed to withstand earthquakes. The presence of a low-cost source
of high quality structural building products will encourage
development in all areas." Through IHI International, the Company will continue to develop
international strategic alliances in order to generate revenue and to
market the Company's products on a worldwide basis. "A progress report update on the Company's plans and operations
will be provided mid-month," said Mr. Rached. International Hi-Tech Industries Inc. is a company whose principal
