1999 BC Home & Garden Show at BC Place Stadium a Success
Mr. Roger A. Rached, President of International Hi-Tech Industries Inc. ("the Company") is pleased to announce that the IHI feature home for the 1999 BC Home & Garden Show was very well received by visitors. "Over 65,000 people visited the show, including approximately 300 of the Company's out-of-town shareholders who flew in to share in our success," said Mr. Rached. "We anticipate closing on approximately 5 additional Joint Ventures by the end of March 1999, and look forward to providing more IHI Show Homes for our Joint Venture Partners." During the show, the Company received a recognition certificate from Lafarge and a special recognition award from Southex Exhibitions Inc. The house was dismantled and loaded on flat bed trailers in approximately 18 net hours - well under the allotted 48 hours. The $100,000 letter of credit posted by the Company has been returned. After the demolition of an existing house on the lot at 846 W. King Edward Boulevard in Vancouver, the show home will be remodeled and reassembled to include a finished basement and garage for a total of 5,000 square feet. An event will be held to mark the occasion.
