IHI PLANNING
Following are examples of projects that IHI has designed in-house for some of its Clients illustrating the total flexibility of the IHI panelized system and product that caN be adapted to any shape or form created by architects. These projects are presently under study and negotiations.
- STUDY FOR A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE
This was a study for a is a single residence, 220 sq. meters, 2-stories with Living/dining, entrance hall, family room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This house was designed as part of a housing compound with 5 similar units. The architectural concept was to enhance the panels by creating a playful design in space at different planes achieving elegant proportions. The materials used for the facades are paint, stone, glass blocks and metal louvers.
- PROTOTYPE HIGHRISE BUILDING
This 16-story building was designed as a prototype high-rise apartment building.
The floor plan was made to achieve a maximum efficiency in the public areas. The architectural expression shows a search for purity in design illustrating that aesthetics can be achieved despite budget constraints. The purpose of this project was to illustrate that the IHI panel system allows developers to realize buildings for rental purposes that are more and more in demand and that are hindered by the high cost of construction in the present market. There are 6 different types of units varying from 600 sq.ft. to 900 sq.ft each. Altogether there are 120 units.
IHI will use its patented primary steel structure combined with its concrete/steel panels to achieve this economical yet elegant building.
